Trina Solar places order for 85 million m² of PV glass
Trina Solar orders 85 million m² of PV glass for €270 million
for delivery by the end of 2022
The shortage of glass is so great that it disrupts the output of panels from production lines. This has prompted Trina Solar to place an order to supply its Vertex panel production lines (using the M12 format) which will reach a capacity of 21 GW by the end of 2021 and 31 GW by the end of 2022.
