Polish photovoltaic producers unite their efforts
Under the aegis of the Polish government, which will support efforts to consolidate its photovoltaic sector, Polish solar panel manufacturers are joining forces to compete with imports. The letter of intent that will be signed,
will set up development cooperation. "Polish solar companies are planning a joint offensive".
The operation is similar to the European Solar Europe Now initiative launched in April with 90 participants to share knowledge, technology and best practices.
In 2019, Polish companies supplied a quarter of the solar panels sold in the country, German panels another quarter, Chinese products were used in 30% of PV projects, and Vietnamese and Italian components in 20%.

Editor's note This association of manufacturers is remarkable because unity is strength; because the pooling of know-how makes it possible to produce better and cheaper; because it is the means of consolidating companies that are still small but want to grow. It would also be good to know what the European initiative is doing and what its successes are.
