Meyer Burger indicates the location of its production units

Meyer Burger has now indicated the location of its production units for heterojunction cells and panels. He will manufacture his solar cells in Bitterfeld-Wolfen,

in Saxony-Anhalt on the former Sovello site, and the panels in Freiberg, Saxony on the former Solarworld production site. It acquired the former SolarWorld logistics and distribution centre.

Production is expected to begin in thefirst half of 2021, with an initial output of 400 MW, which will be gradually increased to 5 GW.

These projects depend on the completion of a capital increase of 165 M FS (175 M) and the agreement of SolarWorld's creditors.
