The impact of the coronavirus on Scatec Solar's activity

Scatec Solar took stock of the impact of coronavirus on its business.

The plants in operation will continue to produce as much electricity as the world needs. The epidemic will have no impact.

Production will be in line with forecasts, as these plants are monitored remotely.

The situation is different for projects and construction: travel constraints and local regulations introduced in response to the pandemic have begun to affect the construction, commissioning and testing of some of the new solar power plants. It is too early to specify the effect of these measures on construction completion dates. Deadlines are generally relaxed in Germany and France. The company is taking measures to protect staff, to limit the spread of the virus and to ensure the operation of the plants.
