Does the future of concentrators lie in smaller power plants?

According to GlobalData, the future of concentrators (CSPs) would pass through smaller power plants. While the capital costs of building new CSPs have fallen sharply in recent years, the future of concentrators (CSPs) will depend on smaller power plants.

by 50% between 2013 and 2018, the scale and complexity of these projects remains a major obstacle to alternatives such as solar thermal towers with storage, photovoltaic (PV) solar projects or wind power. SSC is the most competitive renewable technology to replace PV after sunset in sunny countries. Smaller plants could increase their efficiency by 25%.

The advantage of concentrators is their energy storage.
