NREL has launched a study to determine the contribution of two-sided panels

In May 2019, the US NREL began a three-year study to determine the performance of two-sided panels. The first results have been published. They are of interest to the industry who want to ensure that the panels achieve an optimal balance between energy efficiency and system cost.
