A cubicle without busbar presented by INES
The French National Institute for Solar Energy (INES) achieves a conversion efficiency of 24.6% for a heterojunction solar cell (HJT).
based on a standard M2 insert. The front end efficiency of the two-sided cell has been increased by approximately 0.7% thanks to an improved busbarless screen-printing metallisation process based on heterojunction processes developed between Enel and INES, using manufacturing equipment supplied by Swiss specialist Meyer Burger.
