The cost of renewable energies in France in 2018, according to Ademe (French Environment and Energy Management Agency)
Ademe has published an update of its 2016 study on the "costs of renewable energy and energy recovery in France".
The full production costs of a megawatt-hour, for onshore wind power (50 to 71 € / MWh) and photovoltaic power plants (50 to 71 € / MWh) are presented in the following tableThe full production costs of a megawatt-hour for onshore wind (50 to 71 € / MWh) and photovoltaic power plants (45 to 81 € / MWh) are competitive with those of a combined cycle gas power plant (CCGT, 50 to 66 € / MWh).
