5,000 tonnes of used panels in 2019 in France
PV Cycle, the approved organisation for the collection and recycling of used PV panels, reports that it will have collected 5,000 tonnes in France in 2019. This represents approximately
280,000 photovoltaic solar panels, most of which are no longer in use, almost 95% of which will be recovered by being processed at the Rousset (Bouches du Rhône) unit.
Within ten years, ten times as many panels will be recycled. A second recycling unit will have to be built
