New Austrian government focuses on energy transition
The government pact between the Green Party and the People's Party foresees the exclusive use of renewable energies by 2030 in Austria, which will lead to carbon neutrality by 2040. A super-ministry
is planned to coordinate climate and environmental protection actions and to take measures in favour of infrastructure and energy.
Among the flagship measures envisaged, PV panels will be installed on one million roofs.
