* Finergreen analyzes the results of the Fessenheim call for tenders

The call for tenders for the installation of photovoltaic systems at the Fessenheim nuclear power plant site nominated 12 winning projects with a production capacity of 62.8 MW. The sales price was set at €66.05 per MWh (€0.06605 per kWh).

* Already derives from 10 to 15% of the costs of the Hinkley project for EDF

EDF has announced that the Hinkley Point C nuclear project (England), has seen its overall costs rise from 2010 to 2019 by 10% to 15% over its initial forecasts.

A young company had the idea of using solar energy to replace natural gas in industrial processes. The company Skyven Technologies has just installed solar thermal collectors to increase the temperature of the water used to sanitise the milking robots in a livestock facility.
