Subsidy in Flanders to acquire residential batteries

The Flemish government (Belgium) has decided to subsidise batteries in private households since 1 August. The subsidy amounts to

250 € per kWh of capacity with a ceiling of 3.200 €. This corresponds to 35% of the investment for an 8 kWh battery costing €8,000. The objective is to encourage panel owners to buy a battery
