Los Angeles wants to contract a $0.01997 purchase contract
The Los Angeles Municipal Department is preparing a 25-year power purchase agreement for 200 MW-ac of solar energy at USD 0.01997 / kWh and 100 MW / 400 MWh of energy storage at USD 0.01997 / kWh.
0.013 USD / kWh. The project is expected to come into operation in April 2023.
This would be a new price record compared to the current low price of $0.02375 / kWh set with 8 Minutes for the 300 MW Eagle Shadow Mountain solar project.
The project includes the option to add 50 MW / 200 MWh of storage for an additional $0.00665 / kWh adder.
