Experimenting with panels on the façade of a building
Nine panels were positioned on a three metre high concrete façade. The objective is to measure the efficiency of these panels, the appropriateness of the carbon concrete used, and the fixing of these panels on the surface. The study is conducted by Fraunhofer CSP and the University of Leipzig (HTWK).
Some panels were cast in concrete, others were laminated or glued to concrete slabs, some were fixed with screws or press buttons. Weather resistance is also sought after.
