AE Solar wants to sell in Australia
The German panel manufacturer AE Solar wants to expand its sales to Australia in 2020. It has started to have its Supreme panels approved by the authorities. These panels include a "micro" bypass diode between the individual cells, which means they are shade-resistant and have no hot spots (HSF). AE Solar HSF technology goes further than optimizer or microinverter technology, managing energy production at the individual cell level rather than in the cell chain.
The company has a production capacity of 500 MW at its plant in the Ukraine and 525 MW at its plant in China.
PV Magazine of 6 March
NDLR AE Solar is very discreet, but it seems to work well. It has established itself industrially in two industrial zones, being able to take advantage of access to the American market and the Asian zone. Its extension to Australia indicates its desire to move forward.
The production volume is still too small to achieve significant economies of scale. The longer it persists in its market, the more sustainable it will be.
