The developers:
Why are self-consumption tenders unsatisfactory?
The result of the CRE6 "self-consumption" call for tenders is almost as unsatisfactory as the previous ones. This raises the question of why. First of all, the characteristics of the call for tenders must be determined, and then the winners must be identified in order to better understand the situation.

Looking ahead to a brilliant year in 2020
China
India
Europe
The United States
Elsewhere in the world
At the beginning of this year, we look back on both the past and the near future, and while the volume of gigawatts installed worldwide will be barely higher than in 2018, the year ahead will clearly be a bright one.
Whereas 2018 ended with an installed amount of 102 GW according to SolarPower Europe (each institute provides different figures), the long-term natural growth of 25 % per year, which would have led to 127 GW in natural terms, will only be around 105 to 107 GW in 2019. There are two main reasons for this difference.
