Will there be future autonomy for end users of electricity? That depends on the price of batteries and the development of electric vehicles.

Debates continue about the future autonomy of end users of electricity with solar generators: ALCIMED, an innovation consulting firm, estimates that the cost of domestic electricity is between €0.25/kWh and €0.35/kWh (between €0.10 and €0.20 for solar production and €0.14 for storage, according to Comwatt), which is more expensive than electricity from EDF (€0.15/kWh).
