A European investment fund to boost new renewable energy technologies

Bill Gates and InnovFin, a subsidiary of the European Investment Bank (EIB), are to create a €100m investment fund, financed on a 50/50 basis, called the "European Investment Fund".

Breakthrough Energy Europe (EEB). Its aim is to stimulate European companies working on new clean energy technologies to bring them to maturity, particularly with regard to storage.
