China goes micro inverter

China's Hoymiles has commissioned one of the world's largest photovoltaic systems using module-level power electronics (MLPE) in China. It is a

3.6 MW in Fujian (China, opposite Taiwan). Hoymiles installed 6,000 of its MI-600 micro inverters, 150 data transfer units and 20 AC junctions on two roofs totalling 30,000 square metres.

At the end of 2017, Hoymiles acquired a control product from the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), enabling it to test the products in its own laboratory under the supervision of a third party,
