Microsoft and ABB have launched a new platform to collect data during the rapid recharging of electric vehicles (in 30 minutes): the vehicles will be connected via ABB's Internet to Microsoft's Azure service.
The development of electric vehicles is important for the storage industry because their development will have a considerable effect on manufacturing economies of scale, and therefore on cost reduction, which will improve the price-performance ratio of lithium-ion cells.
