U.S. renewable energy production surpasses the level of the same months in previous years
Renewable energy production in the United States in each month of the year 2016 exceeded the level of the same months in all previous years according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). This came at a time when hydroelectric production was lower than last year due to the severe drought along the West Coast, which concentrates half of the country's hydroelectric resources
