Leading Chinese manufacturers switch to PERC cells
Leading Chinese panel producers are rushing to increase their PERC cell production capacity as the Chinese government has increased the cell conversion rate to qualify for the feed-in tariff. For example, Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, JinkoSolar, JA Solar, GCL Poly and Xi'An Longi are currently expanding their production lines: PERC cell production capacity could increase from the current 3 GWp to 10 GWp, but this depends on the supply capacity of the three major equipment manufacturers Meyer Burger, LoLayTec and the Shanghainese Ideal Energy Equipment
