A system for cooling solar panels
American and Saudi researchers have come up with a new technique for cooling solar panels: two mirrors tilted at 45 degrees on either side of a panel. From the rear, a spectrally selective reflector directs thermal radiation towards the sky, while preventing the back of a module from heating up from the scattered sunlight.
