Italy supports agrivoltaics
The European Commission has approved Italy's €1.7 billion ($1.84 billion) incentive programme for agrivoltaics to deploy 1.04 GW of installed solar power. The country will offer

Editor's note It is still difficult to determine whether solar farming is an expensive fad or a long-term benefit. There are few published studies on the extra cost of installations offset by the gains obtained. This means that it is difficult to determine whether this investment programme will bring a gain or constitute a net expense (a losing investment). It is understandable that farmers still have reservations about this formula.
