SER conference a great success
The 24th annual conference of the Syndicat des énergies renouvelables (SER) on 26 September was attended by nearly 1,000 participants (industry players, public authorities, political representatives and elected representatives).
on the theme of "Building a new social contract with renewable energies".
Opening the day's proceedings, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the French Minister for Energy Transition, reaffirmed the essential role of renewable energies in France's energy transition. The new multi-annual energy programme (PPE) is due to be formalised in the coming weeks, and will take account of the proposals put forward by the 7 preparatory working groups. She indicated that, in addition to the quantified trajectories for the various sectors, the PPE would include a mechanism for automatically raising the targets if they were reached earlier.
This 2023 edition was also an opportunity to reiterate the importance of creating a framework and conditions favourable to the ambitions of developing and strengthening the industrial production chains of renewable energies in France.
