The Global Electronics Council (GEC) has presented the "Evaluation Criteria for Ultra Low Carbon Panels". This set of criteria aims to "establish a framework, standardised methodology and performance targets to incentivise manufacturers and suppliers to design and manufacture photovoltaic (PV) panels with low embodied carbon. "
