Dutch company Solarge has commissioned a new factory that will manufacture two types of lightweight mono-PERC panels with a low carbon footprint. They are designed to be installed on roofs. These panels
can be fully recycled at the end of their 25-year life. They can be used to produce new solar panels.
Both types of panel weigh 5.5 kg/m², with maximum power outputs ranging from 470 W to 520 W, and panel efficiencies of between 17.4% and 19.2%.
The factory can manufacture 200,000 panels a year.
