Canada's Silfab sets up a new plant in the US

Canadian panel manufacturer Silfab is to build a new production unit with 1 GW of cells and 1.2 W of panels. It is expected to be fully operational in

2024 in the USA. This will be Silfab's third plant in the US

According to Wood Mackenzie, US demand in the short to medium term will be too great for domestic production capacity.
