The price of plates
The recent drop in wafer prices is believed to be due to changes in market supply and demand, according to LONGi.

Longi Green Energy has lowered the price of its 155 μm Type P mono M10 (182/247 mm) wafers by 1.6% to RMB7.42 ($0.93).

LONGi mono wafer prices as of 11/24/2022.
PV InfoLink reports that prices for 182mm and 210mm wafers have fallen by 2.1% and 1.6%, respectively, in one week. Although the first tier manufacturers did not publicly adjust prices, various changes were made in order fulfillment. Second- and third-tier wafer manufacturers made drastic price cuts to boost shipments.
