A new cleaning robot. It's Indian

India's Greenleap Robotics has built a cleaning robot (the Lotus A4000) using automotive-grade components to clean solar panels in arid regions.

The robot uses ultra-soft microfibre cleaning fins that combine airflow and controlled impact to remove dust particles without damaging the anti-reflective coating on the panels. It is self-contained and waterless. It is compatible with both roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar installations. It is powered by an on-board lithium battery and can complete a single cleaning cycle for a 1 MWp solar power plant in less than 2.5 hours.
