India's ReNew Power in the first half of the year and the acquisition of 3E

India's ReNew Power would have 3.7 GW of solar in operation by 30 September 2022, an increase of

45% year-on-year. Revenue for thefirst half of the year (started on1 April) was $275 million (INR 22.4 billion), up 5% year-on-year. The company incurred a net loss of INR 986 million (up from INR 6.6 billion in 2021).

ReNew has just acquired shares in 3E, a renewable energy asset performance management and analytics platform that manages around 20 GW of capacity per contract.

Editor's note: The Indians are making their market in Europe and acquiring everything that exists (REC Solar, Interfloat Group's glass, and now 3E), not to mention all the unannounced company purchases.

Having acquired European know-how, Indian groups will assimilate it and then come very quickly with quality products, improved by their technical competence.

In a way, the Europeans have something to worry about unless they manage to react quickly.
