In brief from India: new panels at Credence Solar, Goldi Solar, Emmvee; capacity increase at Jakson

India's Credence Solar is introducing bifacial panels in the 650 to 670 watt range. The panels consist of

of 132 single PERC half-cells and 12 busbars, with front-end power conversion efficiencies of 21% to 21.6%.

India's Goldi Solar has introduced a two-sided panel, using heterojunction. It has 132 half-cells and a conversion efficiency of 22.8%. The company wants to invest USD 615,000 in capacity expansion and backward integration by 2025. Having a panel production capacity of 2.5 GW, it wants to reach 6 GW of panels and install a cell production capacity of 5 GW by 2025.

India's Emmvee is introducing a range of glass-to-glass bifacial panels with outputs from 530W to 545W, using 144 mono PERC half-cells and 10 busbars. Its conversion rate is between 20.5% and 21.1%.

Emmvee has a panel production capacity of 1.25 GW in Karnataka. This will be increased to 3.25 GW by December 2023.
