Modification of the Horizeo project (1 GWp)
Following the public debate on the Horizeo project, the promoters (Engie, Neoen and RTE) presented a modified version of their project: they maintained the power of 1 GWp for the installation located in Saucats
(Gironde). The data centre will be moved to an already developed area; the fate of the electrolyser is still under consideration.
The project owners, Engie and Neoen, hope that the public enquiry can be completed by the end of 2023, with commissioning expected in 2025.
