Ms Vestager: "With Russian energy, Europe has not been naïve, it has been greedy".
The Danish commissioner, vice-president of the Commission with responsibility for competition, gave an interview to a group of European newspapers, including "Les Echos" in France. In the face of the energy crisis, she called on Member States to diversify their sources of supply and accept the costs involved in the name of the long-term benefits to be gained.
