A PV panel based on tin oxide (SnO2) and a layer of perovskite

Scientists have created a PV panel with an efficiency of 20.7% based on tin oxide (SnO2) as the electron-transport layer, a layer of perovskite (SnO2) as the electron-transport layer, a layer of perovskite (SnO2) as the electron-transport layer and a layer of perovskite (SnO2) as the electron-transport layer.

with organometallic halide, an organic halide salt, phenethylammonium iodide (PEAI), as a passivating agent, and Spiro-OMeTAD as a hole transport layer (HTL). The panel has an opening area of 11 cm² and a geometric fill factor of 91%.
