Swiss Clean Battery is about to start commercial production of its solid state batteries in Switzerland. The batteries are based on a protected electrolyte consisting of a solid ion conductor, which maintains internal resistance and capacity. The fixed ion conductor is formed in the battery cell itself, like a multi-component adhesive.
In the first phase, a production of 1.2 GWH is planned.
