Le français Qair operates in sixteen countries and has invested €1 billion to build 1 GW of renewable energy production capacity.

The company, which has acquired Cap Sud (a specialist in photovoltaic systems on the roofs of farm buildings), wants to increase its stake in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and expand into agrivoltaics in conjunction with Sun'Agri.

Since 2013, VDN Group has been developing wind power and photovoltaic programmes, combined with hydrogen-powered electricity storage solutions. It was a winner of the Trophées de l'Hydrogène in 2019.

Other companies are proposing to buy back surplus production in the form of "virtual batteries", Oscaro Power is offering to buy back the electricity at a price of 6.8 cts per kWh, while retaining a free choice of electricity supplier.

Oscaro handles all the administrative formalities. Its partner, JPME, signs a contract with the customer to purchase the surplus solar energy produced.

Terreal, the French specialist in solar solutions for the residential market, reports that over the past two years, its 'Demain Tous Solaire' offer has been installed in 500 homes equipped with low-carbon solar solutions, and 1.800 professional users of the "Demain Tous Solaire" application. By 2022, Terreal expects to have doubled the number of roofs equipped using this offer.
