VAT rate on panels in Europe to be lowered soon

EU finance ministers have decided to lower value added tax rates. The European Council therefore agreed to update these rates

in order to bring them into line (by lowering them) with the Union's objective of developing solar installations. The reduced rates will make solar installations cheaper, but also other goods that the Union wants to favour.
