lNES.2S has difficulties in identifying different past experiences
The INES.2S institute is investigating the environmental impact of tandem cells. They consist of a perovskite material on top and a silicon base on the bottom.
The Institute is confronted with the lack of life cycle data on the materials that make up the layer above. This is because a large number of materials have been used, with no recorded experimental protocol after the experiments.
INES.2S believes that the PK/Si-HJT tandem technology has a high efficiency and a large potential to reduce environmental impacts compared to a standard panel.
