Solar Invention has patented its innovation
Having secured a patent for a solar cell architecture that can increase solar energy production and reduce the need for silver paste by up to 12%, Solar Invention
is getting closer to commercialising its product, the C3. He discovered that he could create multiple 'lanes' or sub-cells on a single wafer by electrically splitting each cell during the plating process. "The benefits are similar to those of half-cells, but without requiring the cells to be physically broken up and rewired."
Cf. on the website: Is it worth placing sub-cells inside a single cell?
