In brief from China: Zhonghuan's 9-month figures, Tongwei and LONGi prices, silicon and wafers

Photovoltaic wafer producer Zhonghuan announces a turnover of

for the first three quarters of 2021 of RMB 28 billion to RMB 30 billion, with annual growth of 109% to 124%. Estimated net profit will be RMB2.7 billion to RMB2.8 billion, with annual growth of 219% to 231% (or a net margin of 9% to 10%). The company attributes this success to the commercialisation of its 210mm photovoltaic panels and technical improvements that have resulted in thinner wafers and therefore lower polysilicon costs.
