Trade unions are satisfied with the 500 kWp window

Published in the Official Journal on Friday, the tariff order extending the open window to 500 kWp greatly satisfies the solar industry. Enerplan is pleased to see this facility open to project developers, and calls on all players in the sector to seize this opportunity.

For Daniel Bour (photo), president of Enerplan, "the conditions for the development of rooftop and shaded power plants are now very favourable, in addition to being competitive.

This new decree requires installations to have a carbon footprint of less than 550 kgCO2e/kWp to benefit from a purchase contract. A tariff of €98/MWh with a ceiling of 1,100 hours is planned for the first quarter. This new order will give a renewed impetus to projects on buildings and shaded areas, as a significant number of projects have already been developed in advance.

This will allow for the necessary change of scale to approach the target volumes of the EPP, i.e. the installation of 3 to 4 GW of new photovoltaic capacity per year.

Editor's note One can understand the satisfaction of negotiators who have finally obtained one of their demands. For the time being, we cannot comment on the effects of this measure, which will not be seen for another one to two years
