Glass prices have risen for the third week in a row. PV InfoLink has noted an increase

The price of 2mm thick glass rose by 4.8% per square metre to RMB 22 ($3.40) in eight days. The increase for 3.2mm glass was 3.7% to RMB 28 ($4.33) per sq m.

Golden Solar's (formerly Baofeng Modern) Xuzhou production facility has begun supplying 182mm (M10) monosilicon wafers. It manufactures them from casting, which is suitable for heterojunction cells. The company will quickly increase its production capacity and expand to larger P- and N-type wafers. These have a better cost/performance ratio.
