PV and inverters in Taiwan in H1 2021

Solar panels

Taiwanese deliveries exceeded 1 GW in the first half of 2021. Volumes are close to last year's levels according to PV Infolink

The largest panel manufacturer is TSEC, which has supplied many large power plants, and has moved into large cells. Other major panel manufacturers are URE, AUO, Motech, Gintung

Inverters

Delta, which has been number one for several years, has increased its shipments and is holding its position. PrimeVolt, No. 2, has won some big contracts, which brings it back to second place. SolarEdge moved up to third place after adjusting its sales strategy.

Installations in 2021 are expected to remain between 1.5 GW and 1.7 GW.
