Indian company to start ammonia production in Oman
Indian solar developer ACME Group has signed a contract with the government of Oman to build a green hydrogen and ammonia production facility. Completed,
It will produce 2,400 tonnes of green ammonia per day or 900,000 tonnes per year. Production will be powered by a 3 GW solar power plant and 500 MW of wind turbines installed near the facility. The first phase of the plant will be commissioned at the end of 2022. The investment amount is 3.5 billion dollars
