Atriohm offers a new financing formula for solar roofs.

This proposal concerns the roof of community buildings, companies or car parks. It is leased for a long period (25 to 30 years) and then equipped with a solar installation. Atriohm carries out the work, and is remunerated from the sale of the electricity produced, or through the provision of energy efficiency services.

This company was founded by Akuo and the Banque des Territoires.

Editor's note: This rental offer was very successful in the United States when interest rates were high. The scheme declined as interest rates fell, as owners were then better off borrowing on their own to obtain the proceeds from electricity sales.

French company Reden Solar has formed an alliance with Dutch developer Kenergy Ventures to develop solar projects in Spain.

Reden had already announced in 2019 its intention to continue acquiring PV projects in Spain, when it had about 100 MW after the buyout from Everwood.

Kenergy has started to develop renewable energy projects for third parties and is currently involved in the assets until they are built. In total, it has developed and connected over 550 MW.
