Hydrogen in brief: Bouygues in Orleans, hydrogen in Kazakhstan and the UK, Chile + Germany, Baker Hughes + Samsung

Bouygues Energies & Services and supply chain specialist FM Logistic have agreed

to deploy a solar-powered green hydrogen project in the city of Orléans. The green hydrogen will be distributed via private and public stations deployed by Bouygues throughout the city. The H2HUB Loiret project aims to produce up to 800 kilograms per day of renewable hydrogen near an FM Logistic site.

German Svevind Energy and Kazakh Invest want to build a 45 GW green hydrogen complex in Kazakhstan. The green electricity will power 30 GW of electrolysers to produce about three million tonnes of green hydrogen each year. The construction and commissioning phases are expected to take five years.

Norway's Equinor wants to triple its low-carbon hydrogen production targets in the UK to 1.8 GW.
