Spanish small solar producers don't want to be forgotten

Faced with the huge solar power plants installed in Spain (500 MW in Badajoz, 500 MW in Murcia, 1,000 MW in Teruel, ...), the association of photovoltaic energy producers in Spain (Anpier)

proposes plants of up to 5 MW to avoid losses associated with large installations, grid disturbances, and long-distance transmission of energy. He insists that the government should impose a minimum of small plants that will produce for local consumption

Editor's note: You have to know what you want! The large Spanish power plants produce electricity at an unparalleled cost (a figure of €0.025 per kWh was published), which is much lower than the "small" French plants.0.025 per kWh), which is far lower than the "small" French plants, which rarely exceed 10 MW and cannot produce less than €0.05 per kWh. If solar energy is to become established, it must have an advantage over the cost price of nuclear electricity, which is around €0.05 per kWh.

Thus, in the face of the large Spanish power plants, some "small" producers have to put forward their local contribution and losses on the grid to be considered attractive. They know they cannot compete on price!
