BayWa r.e. builds green hydrogen pilot project

BayWa r.e. is building a green hydrogen pilot project with a 50 MWp solar farm. This project will

located in the Netherlands will provide information on how electrolysers can be used to store green energy, as well as how the system can adapt to the variable nature of a solar farm's energy production.

Editor's note One can of course build electrolysers in Holland and see what happens, but the location is far from ideal for energy production and therefore hydrogen production. This operation is more of an advertisement than a trial to test its realism. A serious trial should have been carried out where there is a combination of water and solar and wind power production.
