Enerplan critical of the RE2020 regulations

Enerplan takes a critical look at the regulatory texts that will govern new buildings for the next ten years. Alone,

the calculation of the carbon footprint of new housing is a step in the right direction. On the other hand, the production of solar and thermal energy is insufficiently taken into account by this regulation, ignoring its contribution to the achievement of renewable production objectives and to the local supply of renewable energy. Solar energy in new houses and small tertiary buildings has been abandoned. Finally, Enerplan regrets that new buildings do not provide for pre-equipment with solar energy in order to install it later. This costs only 0.4% of the construction cost
